Resumen

This academic article describes and analyzes two creative moments, carried out by the Laboratory of Contemporary Dance and Choreographic Composition of the University of Cuenca, Ecuador, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. In the analysis of these two temporal and procedural instances, it seeks to account for the transit between confinement and social isolation produced worldwide by the virus and the recovery of bodily mobility in public space, through improvisation tools and dance composition, to build an artistic experience that considered the subjectivities and contributions of the project participants, as a fundamental path in the generation of a scenic-visual-choreographic discourse, as well as reflection on such an experience; understanding that in artistic research thinking and doing are closely linked in the production of knowledge.
