Trabajo Social en los procesos de gestión y seguimiento socio-familiar en Centros de Atención y Apoyo a víctimas de Violencia Intrafamiliar

For more than a decade several groups have struggled to eradicate domestic violence, considering that this problem has no individual or isolated features; so it must be focused with a multidisciplinary holistic view. The title of the work allows us to identify the intervention performed in these professional circumstances in the area of Social Work, contributing to the objective of the Symposium at generating social awareness among citizens in relation to domestic violence. Within the methodology, it is performed a qualitative research, applying techniques such as observation, semi-structured interviews with responsible officials for the areas of domestic violence in the various departments that make up the network to support this issue. In conclusion, it may be mentioned that the theoretical and practical training of professionals in Social Work allows to fulfill important and transcendental functions in cases of domestic violence, so their procedure must respect the approaches of gender and human rights like the professionals that make up the technical teams in different units by respecting the same principles of re-victimization, non-discrimination, and best interests.
