A reliability, descriptive and bivariate correlation analysis was carried out. The results have shown that the support of the sports environment favors the strengthening of the commitment and development of soccer players, while the pressure increases the possibilities of sports abandonment. Meanwhile support for autonomy develops basic psychological needs, motivation and sports commitment. Just as demotivation is not related to variables such as support for autonomy and sports commitment. Parents are recommended to direct their children's directive behaviors and involvement in sports, improving support and understanding in a way that reduces the perception of pressure from their children; in turn, the coaches provide support for autonomy to ensure sports commitment.
