Marco metodológico para monitorear patrones de segregación residencial por exclusión de movilidad en la ruralidad

We present the findings of the first stage of the Research Project "Mobility indicators as a tool to define the territories with residential segregation and spatial inequality in the canton of Cuenca". From the reconfiguration of a state of the art on residential segregation – under the question of social inequality –, we identify the variables that contribute to the observation of the segregation patterns subject to a mobility exclusion factor. Thus, a systematic literature review is developed from the universal search, selection, and analysis of scientific studies, supported by the dialectical method, which allows selecting a group of socio-spatial variables with local relevance, triggering a useful discussion for the adjustment of a public transport accessibility index (under construction). As a result, a base methodological proposal is defined, to monitoring the behavior of residential segregation in constant re-scaling, influenced by exclusion processes in mobility.
