Resumen
Since Cuenca was inscribed on the World Heritage List (1999), its historical areas have
been a key point of interest for public and private action. Public action has promoted
interventions in important heritage buildings and public spaces, while the private sector
has implemented initiatives mainly in heritage buildings. The article develops a
theoretical reflection on this subject, with a particular focus in the case of the Seminary
San Luis and the Street of Santa Ana de Cuenca.
