Resumen
Crime scene inspection was conceived in the past by criminal science as a fundamental tactical action in any investigative process, which is assumed whenever possible, and for this, methodological requirements that validate it must be respected in order to its result in terms of obtaining fingerprints or evidence can be incorporated into the criminal process as part of the evidentiary material; Among the methodological requirements, respect for the chain of custody of the evidence is identified, which constitutes a guarantee of due criminal process.
