N2 - Physical Education is indispensable for the integral formation of students in the school
stage, therefore, it should not be relegated for any reason, because it allows the
development of physical, cognitive, affective and value formation capacities. The
objective of the present study is to analyze the key aspects for the integral formation of
the students of the basic general sub-level from the Physical Education classes. This is
an exploratory type of research. For this purpose, scientific articles and graduate and
postgraduate degree works published in the last ten years from different scientific
databases and bibliographic search engines are considered, it is concluded that
Physical Education is of vital importance in school stages, it allows the development of
motor, cognitive and affective skills essential for life.
