Resumen

The present article involves a historical-descriptive type research which is aimed to make a monitoring to the graduates from Psychology career, starting from the creation of a database containing consolidated results of a study carried out in Cuenca University, Ecuador from 1983 to 2014. It intends to stress the significance of such statistics for Higher Education Institutions, as an assessment and feedback strategy. Methods of documental review, focus groups and descriptive statistics were mainly used. This research should lead us to the formulation of policies and plans for institutional and employment improvement.
