Evaluación de la cátedra de emprendimiento desde su intención emprendedora en una universidad pública en Cuenca (Ecuador)

Resumen

The aim of this article is to evaluate the Entrepreneurship program in the careers of the social sciences of an ecuadorian public university, University of Cuenca, with a focus on their entrapreneurial intentions and the knowledge and information acquired. The research used Wilcoxon's non-parametric test to evaluate entrepreneurial intent, and the chi2 test with the Mc Nemar test to evaluate the knowledge and information acquired. The results show that the students' perceptions of their intention to undertake are maintained in a period of time and does not make a significant difference at the beginning and at the end of the course. The provision of information on entrepreneurship support programs was significant, while in the knowledge and skills acquired there was no significant difference at the end of the course. It is revealed that entrepreneurship education from the social area of the University of Cuenca could establish strategies to strengthen the chair and seek to raise the entrepreneurial initiative and innovate in the knowledge imparted.
