Resumen
This study is developed due to the little interest of high school students in the Physical
Education subject, some think that this subject is filler and less important, the objective is
to describe and classify the most useful innovative strategies for the teaching process -
Learning Physical Education. The study has a quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental
approach, cross-sectional, the sample corresponds to Physical Education teachers at the
baccalaureate level of the province of Azuay. For data collection, the survey technique
was used, which was validated by academic specialists. The results obtained show that
the educational system uses traditional and active strategies, that is, some teachers
innovate their classes with contemporary strategies and some teachers do not take
advantage of the full potential offered by the various strategies or are unaware of them
