Resumen
The results of a didactic experience using GeoGebra software as a resource to teach vectors to Physics 1 students of the Pedagogy of Experimental Sciences of the University of Cuenca-Ecuador are presented. Quantitative research has a descriptive scope, for which the motivation and knowledge acquired were considered as variables of the research, as instruments for collecting information, a perception survey and a knowledge test were used, which were applied to the students at the finish the didactic experience. It is concluded that the GeoGebra software is a resource that awakens the motivation to learn, as it allows to quickly achieve the learning required as amathematical foundation for the beginning of the study of Physics, which shows that it is a useful and necessary tool for virtual teaching about all in this time of health emergency that the country and the world are experiencing.
