N2 - A comprehensive reading of the 18 chapters that compose this volume allows us to affirm that tourism intelligence is no longer an emerging concept but a key instrument for destination management. In contrast with traditional models grounded in intuition, promotion, or the mere collection of statistical data, tourism intelligence represents an epistemological and operational shift that places knowledge at the heart of decision-making. This book demonstrates that tourism intelligence extends far beyond the use of technological tools or the accumulation of information: it constitutes a governance system built on the articulation of data, technology, people, and institutions. In this sense, tourism intelligence emerges as a new culture of knowledge applied to tourism, a way of thinking, planning, and acting upon territory that unites science, ethics, and cooperation.
