Resumen

This work analyzes the general well-being of formal caregivers of children and adolescents with disabilities, from the theory of positive psychology. The approach was quantitative, with non-experimental design and descriptive scope. It worked with 63 formal caregivers from three institutions, to which the sociodemographic sheet and the PERMA Profile Adaptation were apply. The data obtained were process through SPSS, which obtained central trend measures. The results show that the overall well-being of formal caregivers had high scores. Sociodemographic variables highlight that most were women, teachers and were in the working time interval of four to nine years. It is concluded that the burden of formal caregivers in this study does not influence their overall well-being
