Resumen
Since 2010 CCCV has arisen as a social organization that promotes citizen responsibility and participation in the construction and transformation of the space within the theoretical framework of the Right to the City. This collective brings together people from many walks of life, including academics, activists, and residents to discuss urban conflicts and concerns from their particular experience to envision a new future for the city. The aim of the CCCV is to contribute to the construction of Cuenca as a public good and an ethical project promoting citizen deliberation about the present and future of Cuenca. In this framework, participatory methodologies are the tool that generates spaces for reflection, self-criticism, and construction to transform reality and lead to new forms of community development.
