Exploratory Visit to Develop a Comprehensive Project on Accurate Diagnosis and Timely Treatment of Urinary Incontinence in the Health Context of Ecuador. Project abstract Urinary Incontinence (UI) presents significant challenges in regions of the Global South, primarily due to inadequate awareness, timely diagnosis, and access to treatment. The absence of scientific studies exacerbates these challenges, impeding the development of comprehensive strategies in countries like Ecuador. In a collaborative effort with Ghent University, our future project aims to tackle the disparities in rehabilitation access, thereby contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals. Through this initiative, we anticipate a revolutionary impact on both the awareness and treatment of UI in Ecuador.
