Abstract

Renewable energy systems, like wind energy, require efficient m anagement a nd t imely i nformation f or operators. Monitoring and visualizing data from these systems is crucial in both industrial and residential settings. Telemetry systems are ideal for this, offering real-time information to quickly address and correct failures, streamline procedures, and optimize performance. Thus, telemetry maximizes renewable energy resource use and ensures optimal system operation. This project aims to develop a telemetry system for visualizing and monitoring wind variables for the Micro-Grid laboratory at the University of Cuenca. Data from inverters at the Irquis mini-wind farm is sent to a Thingsboard server via HTTPs. This information can be exported in plain text format for further analysis or future applications. Data received on the Thingsboard display panel was compared with real-time information from each inverter to validate the telemetry system. This ensured the creation of a functional system with real-time data visualization.
