ShimiTV, a t-learning system for android TV

Abstract

The development and gradual adoption of Interactive Digital Television (iDTV) has enabled novel mechanisms to provide services and content to television viewers. This article presents ShimiTV as an application to provide educational resources and exercises to learn languages. It includes the definition of an agile development methodology and architecture that can be used to build a t-learning application. The implementation is done on the emerging operating system Android TV.
