Abstract

This paper presents the process of analysis, design and implementation of a game for Interactive Digital Television (iDTV), using the Ginga middleware with NCL and Lua as programming languages. It also describes the game's functionality, its architecture and the methodology used for its development. In addition, it defines the necessary tools for the game's implementation, the considerations and limitations found especially in the design of graphical interfaces and the development as such of the application. As a final result, a visually attractive and interactive game was obtained, which makes use of a return channel to connect to a server and a database.
