Abstract

This research describes the integration of smart agriculture with ancestral knowledge in the cultivation of medicinal plants, addressing current challenges in global agriculture. Technological advances, such as artificial vision and the Internet of Things (IoT), have driven precision agriculture, offering opportunities to optimize yields and climate resilience. However, disparities in access to these technologies persist due to cultural and economic factors. Smart agriculture, driven by data analysis and sensor technologies, aims to reduce these gaps by integrating traditional practices with modern innovations. The adoption of technologies like remote sensing holds promise for improving agricultural productivity. This research proposes a model that combines ancestral wisdom with advanced technologies to enhance the efficiency, quality, and sustainability of medicinal plant cultivation, thus benefiting communities and preserving biodiversity.
