Los enemigos de Mesías Maiguashca

This paper proposes an analytical approximation to the work “The Enemies” from the Ecuadorian-German composer Mesías Maiguashca (b.1938). Our proposal does not intend to overcome all the aspects covered by the analytical approach in all its dimensions. What is herein presented should be understood as a general overview, as a synthesis, warranting further investigation. In this contexte,we have created a framework that links an introductory first section, where composer´s training and aesthetic influences are reviewed with the second part using an analytical approach to study the work “The Enemies”
