Abstract

This paper aims to analyze and evaluate the relationship between the different functions of the Ecuadorian State, making a review of the composition and attributions of each one of them. This involves the study of the performance of the checks and balances, as well as the political practices of the members of these functions, in order to critically evaluate the constitutional design established in the Ecuadorian Constitution of 2008, ten years after its validity.
