Abstract
The goal of this investigation is to compare the effects of the introduction of product and process innovation activities of micro, small and medium manufacturing enterprises (MSME), in respectively Argentina and Ecuador. For this purpose, World Bank`s Enterprise Survey (Panel 2006-2010) data are used. A multivariate analysis was applied and included the innovation as an endogenous variable. The results show that the introduction of product and process innovations have significant differential effects in both countries.
