Abstract

This article delves into the existing mismatch between education and the world of work. Unemployment in countries such as Spain dramatically affects the young university graduates. One of the causes is the disconnection between studies and employment opportunities, because universities are not training people for those jobs that are available. This situation was already warned in the studies of Beck and Blas Cabrera, which we use as a basis for the analysis of some recent news.
