Abstract
This work analyzes some of the most important concepts of dramaturgy developed by Isidro
Luna, who has dedicated more than twenty years to theater production and has theoretically
reflected on his own work and the reality of theater in this late period. Luna's aesthetic concepts analyzed here configure a hacker dramaturgy that sets out to overcome the paradigm
of traditional, conventional and commercial theater, provoking the emergence of another
dramaturgy that even aspires to surpass itself. Isidro Luna (1950) works from Ecuador. His
theatrical production has been staged hundreds of times by local and national groups. The
central concepts of his dramaturgy are: automatism and technical work; collective
unconscious and aesthetic unconscious; the crowd, main character; theater and reality;
presentation and representation, beyond modernity and postmodernity
