Abstract
Hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) represent a promising and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional internal combustion engine vehicles. This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of the diverse applications of hydrogen fuel cell technology in the automotive sector. With a focus on FCEVs, we delve into their role in addressing the challenges of global warming, air pollution, and energy sustainability. The review covers the development of hydrogen production and infrastructure, including advancements in clean and sustainable hydrogen generation.
