Abstract
The study focuses its attention on the implementation of an instrument oriented to the
evaluation of Physical Education teaching competencies focused on different educational
contexts. The study responded to a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional research
approach. The main results obtained, with respect to the average in each of the
dimensions are: Fully competent for the reciprocal Leadership dimension; Quite
competent for the dimensions of Didactic technical domain and Active personality with
didactic and metacognitive capacity, and for the Creative potential dimension with
institutional support. Not very competent.
