ETCM 2024 Preface

As General Chairs of IEEE ETCM 2024, and on behalf of the conference organizing committee, it is both our pleasure and a great honor to extend a warm welcome to you for the eighth edition of the Ecuadorian Technical Chapters Meeting. The conference will take place from October 14th to 18th, 2024, in Cuenca, Ecuador, and is organized by the IEEE Ecuador Section in collaboration with Universidad de Cuenca. IEEE ETCM 2024 provides a prestigious platform for academics, engineers, and researchers, particularly those involved in Ecuador’s IEEE Technical Chapters. This year’s conference covers a broad spectrum of topics, both theoretical and practical, including Antennas and Propagation, Systems and Control, Industrial Electronics, Power and Energy, Engineering in Medicine and Biology, Robotics and Automation Systems, Circuits, Systems, and Electron Devices, Computational Intelligence, Smart Cities & Mobility, Education in Engineering, Computer and Software Engineering, Communications, and Technology and Engineering Management.
