Abstract

The use of information and communication technologies generates an unquestionable development in different areas of modern societies, but it is also used for the commission of alleged illegal activities of various kinds, a feature that highlights a controversial debate regarding the legal right that must be protected from criminal law, which is theoretically questioned in this article to the effects of its coherent normative regulation.
