Abstract

With the objective of evaluating the probiotic effect of biopreparations on the productive behavior, zoométricos and the health of pre-weaning piglets. 120 piglets (Duroc / Yorkshire / Landrace) were used, distributed in three groups of 40 animals each, T1 control. T2, L. acidophilus, L. bulgariccus and S. thermophilus and T3 microorganisms of T2 plus S. cerevisiae and K. fragilis (L-4 UCLV). A completely randomized design was used where weight gain, average daily gain, cross elevation, lump height, body length, diarrheal costs and mortality were evaluated. Weight gain and average daily gain; as well as, the elevation to the cross, elevation to the rump and body length was improved (p <0.05) in the animals that consumed the microbial preparations and of these were greater in T3. In all the parameters evaluated at the beginning there was no difference (p <0.05); while at the end of the study in piglets T3 treatment was superior. The incidence of diarrhea was higher (p> 0.05) in the control group. The animals of the groups that consumed the microbial preparations had no deaths during the study. The microbial preparations produced a positive effect on the productive, zoomometric behavior and health of the piglets.
