Abstract

The induction to new college students is part of the training process that provides higher education, it represents a support service and a guidance. The test results applied to students of higher cycles, showed that they did not have enough knowledge about the mission, vision, campus, faculties, services, and regulations of the university. The information and communication technologies can produce and disseminate learning objects, which are educational mediators designed to be used, re-used or referenced in learning purposes. Therefore, a methodology was designed and implemented by the project through learning objects for university induction. This paper describes the experiences in the instructional design and implementation of learning objects, and finally describes the results of the impact evaluation that caused the learning objects in students after application.
