Description

GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Implement procedures with the use of information and communication technologies for the training of health personnel in application of beneficial practices and correction of errors in the care of perinatal health problems, SIP management for epidemiological surveillance, improvement of the quality management of services and dissemination of indicators, processes, results and educational modules for the improvement of maternal and neonatal health. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: Evaluate a human resources training strategy in evidence -based medicine, through teaching in service and telemedicine, regarding the application of beneficial practices and error correction in the care of maternal and neonatal health problems. Implement an epidemiological surveillance system, through the adaptation of the perinatal-SIP- Computer System of the Latin American Center for Perinatology ¿CLAP-, according to the needs of the country, integrated to the General Epidemiological Surveillance System of the MSP. Prepare a proposal to support the management of the continuous improvement system for the quality of obstetric and neonatal care services in terms of: general characteristics, record system, statistical information, infrastructure, supplies and equipment, medicines, staff training and care quality. Publish and disseminate the results of research in the media of the MPS and the University.
