Description

This project starts from the need to rescue the knowledge of ancestral medicine, the approach will be the social prescription detailed in the theoretical framework. The general objective will be to describe the Andean and Amazonian knowledge in response to Pandemia by Covid 19 and its sequels in indigenous communities of the north and south of Ecuador and southern Colombia, it is thus intended to characterize demographically and culturally to the study population, in addition to determining the perceptions, knowledge, establish Indigenous of the north and south of Ecuador and southern Colombia The methodology will be of interpretive paradigm, qualitative approach and descriptive scope through the application of interviews and focal groups with the community social actors (Yachaks, Taitas and Curanderos) and students of the indicated territories. In a first phase the information lifting will be carried out with the community leaders and in a second moment with the students of the indigenous communities whose information provided will allow to build a card of knowledge.
