Description
The analysis of organizational change is the engine that conducts the guidelines of this research project, however, the theoretical and methodological emphasis is put in the response to change. This category of analysis is of the utmost importance since at the time of proposals it allows positively to viabilize the change processes. The main objective of the investigation will therefore be the analysis of the responses of the actors involved in a process of change. To propose the analysis of the answers (not only the resistance, as is usually common in a study of this nature) means addressing other objectives such as the study of the factors that motivate these answers; The scenarios that the different actors configure within the change process and especially how to influence the individual responses and collective scenarios so that the positive change occurs. Methodologically, it is necessary to have dynamic, deep and academic rigor tools for which we propose to conduct research within the framework of case studies. Through interviews, surveys, focal groups and other techniques applied to different scenarios (public university, civil society organization, mixed institution) the information will be triangular so that the results are much more contrasted and reliable, and it can also be defined whether the factors of incidence in change responses can be modified or not. The expected results of this research have to do with a clear and academic definition of the responses to change, the factors that affect them, their nature, origin, levels, relationships between disposition and resistance, etc. but above all it is expected to generate theoretical-methodological inputs that pay the debate on the procedures to be used so that resistance responses can be modified and pave the path towards a successful change.
