Creation, dissemination and impact process of rock music in the city of Cuenca.

In the city of Cuenca, the production of Rock music exists despite all the difficulties: economic, of dissemination and acceptance of the receiving subjects within the local context. Many have been the artists who have worked on the creation, production and dissemination of different genres and musical styles with local and national transcendence. The execution of this project seeks to identify the processes used to reach the final production of rock music and how it is received in the different media. It will seek to develop the project based on a musical and sociological analysis that include interviews with the public, taking into account its ages and field research to 20 rock groups, with all the subjects of study that are immersed within the problem to be investigated. What the project seeks is to study the presence of rock music, through the main actors: musicians and public fond of this genre and the special particularities of rock culture in our city. Show how artists do to create and disseminate their creative artistic product.
