Telemic and Telemonitoring Platform from teaching hospitals to virtual classrooms

Taking into consideration the great investment in communications networks of the University of Cuenca, in terms of the interconnection of the Compus and especially that of Medicine, the possibility of taking advantage of this infrastructure to, adding certain teams, giving new facilities to the students of the Faculty of Medicine, in undergraduate and postgraduate, has been raised. The project will take advantage of the hospital -mounted infrastructure to transmit the surgeries carried out by camcorders. For this, it will be necessary to develop a software that allows the digitalization of the camera signals, which currently counts in the operating room, incorporating the input and output audio signals (bi-directional that does not yet exist) to communicate with the auditorium and/or possible other points.
