Integrated Integration, Publication and Consultation Platform of Bibliographic Resources on the Semantics Web "

This research proposal treats the problem of bibliographic information and its relationship with semantic technologies. Through these technologies, metadata described semantically can be used, which allow a processing based on concepts of the described objects. The general objective of this project is to study methods and techniques for the definition of a unified plan for transformation, publication, link and statistical generation for the use of bibliographic information; As well as the implementation of a technological platform that supports activities, using the principles of Linked Data. That is, provide a technological framework and a method for publication and bonding data. In this way, it is intended to contribute to the enrichment of the data website with bibliographic information collected in the libraries of the University of Cuenca, Private Technical University of Loja (UTPL) and National Polytechnic School (EPN), thus becoming reference information. The success of this initiative will depend on the ability of professionals to identify, reuse or link data with other available sources of linked data.
