Description
Ecuador is a developing country with economic and population growth, therefore, with permanent increase in energy demands. Due to environmental conditions and economy, the electrification of most energy consumption is a priority, a fact that affects greater pressure for the growth of electrical infrastructure. This project raises the development of a plan for the growth of generation and distribution systems of clean energy sources from existing renewable resources, integrating them into the development and territorial planning plans (PDOTS) per administrative political unit. From the analysis and preceding studies in which the capacity and energy potential in different rural and even urban areas for solar, wind, water, geothermal and other local resources have been sized, the need for territorial guidelines at the scale of minor administrative units has been observed. From the local-municipal reality to promote the prioritization of technology that allows from one's own reality in accordance with the demand itself, considering collateral effects, and with adequate combination with social, profitable and integrity with the environment. It is proposed to analyze the local situation where generation projects have been placed, propose methodologies to estimate different existing sources and propose from this an energy chapter to include in the PDots. The expected result is to obtain attempt guidelines and regulations that the territorial units must consider when preparing and implementing the respective planning plans in accordance with regional planning.
