The current requirements of local development and the urgency of meeting the 2030 Agenda of the objectives and goals of sustainable development (SDGs), lead to the study of the most important cities in the province of Galapagos with a view to the acquisition of experiences in the scope of the application of electromobility plans oriented to the achievement of sustainable development and analyze the feasibility of implementation of the plan, in the city. The relevance in terms of the selection of these locations to focus efforts on the development of this project is due to its particularities: Galapagos Natural Heritage of Humanity, due to its characteristics of fauna and flora, and Cultural Heritage Basin of Humanity for its architectural and urban characteristics. The effects of climate change reflected in CO2 carbon dioxide emissions, constitute a threat to the diversity of plant and animal species, so it is imperative to look for zero emissions alternatives that allow mitigating the effects produced by fossil fuels that are used in the transport sector, by electromovility. This represents a huge challenge that, for this purpose and for territorial planning, the recommendations and conclusions that can be issued from the Academy as a generating entity of knowledge and active part of the company, allows to improve the practical roadmap, to formulate the technical guidelines for generation companies and electric service providers and guide public policy, to the application of sustainable electromovility in the province of Galapagos, where the lessons learned will be The implementation of this plan in the city of Cuenca.
