Study participants will be students and teachers of Basic General Education (EGB) and Unified General Baccalaureate (BGU) belonging to zone 6 of Ecuador. At the quantitative level, information will be collected through questionnaires, and at the qualitative level documentary analysis, interviews and focal groups will be used. It is expected to report on the digital gap in the country's education, attitudes, uses and digital competition of teachers and students in relation to different sociodemographic variables. The results will contribute to the development of a systematic teacher training plan in ICT management to enhance learning development.
