In the field of solid waste treatment, in developed countries, its recovery has been chosen through co-processing, a practice implemented worldwide more than 40 years ago as an alternative for the sustainable development of cities (Herrera, 2016); In contrast to the reality present in countries called in the process of development, where this alternative has not been considered as a solution for the reduction of the environmental footprint and an option to dispose of the waste generated. In this context, with a multidisciplinary approach, the project will prepare an innovative proposal aligned with the objectives of the United Nations Sustainable Development (SDGs), and aims to obtain information that allows the generation of a model of management of the co-processing based on socio-environmental and economic variables for the optimization of processes of the integral management of solid waste (turs) of the Cuenca-Ecuador. This study will be carried out through the primary and secondary analysis of different sources of information with the application of instruments and methods that allow to prepare and contrast comprehensive management indicators focused on economic, political and social aspects, more than one analysis of scenarios and actors that allow identify Society in general for sustainable growth of cities under the premise of inclusive business (Ni).
