Description

The problems faced by rural women to market their products, generate a series of questions that territorial planning has not been able to correct. Being the transfer of its products, one of the main inconveniences they face, while mobility planning processes and transport generally focus on the organization of the daily mobility of the average citizen, leaving aside the particularities that certain population groups such as women, children, senior citizens, disabled, etc. Concrete, with technological combination of collective intelligence (IC), Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Cognitive Systems (SC) as ways of addressing the problem of urbanization, seeking to increase the impact of intelligence and citizen data in the decision making of governments in the territory. This research will follow a quantitative and qualitative methodological combination of a transverse nature, under a perspective of methodological pluralism that incorporates proper approaches to the traditional scientific method and expands its design to the field of action research. Its objective is to develop a model of cognitive mobility for women farmers in the Canton Cuenca (Ecuador), in order to reduce their limitations for the use of transport and public space, to market their own agricultural products, through the support of a software prototype.
