Project: Research

Project Details

Description

This research project focuses on the distinctions of the regional, understood as a discursive component and as a category of analysis that delimits cultural, social and literary inquiry (Molina, H&Ila F., 2018). The cuts in this category activate processes such as the relationship of the creators as producers of meaning from the locations of the region, these texts-discourses are recognized by social subjects as their own, as particular signs of their co-march and from here they create and spread a particular image a region. In the case of Cuenca and the Azuaya region, the landscape, customs, literary circles, religious acts, some dialectological uses of language define practices of urban popular music and oral and written literatures, which articulate functions of an enunciative scene, where corpus of aesthetic texts produced in the same geocultural region coexists; There their registration and approach will be worked for methodological options of cultural historians, aesthetic critics, literary and creators-MPU interpreters. For this purpose, oral literary texts, writings and lyrical-musical pieces of urban popular culture of Cuenca and the region will be collected and catalog
