This work seeks to analyze the effect of the transformational leadership style, of socio-demographic, socio-educational, socio-labor and university entrepreneurial ecosystem as a fundamental element in the social entrepreneurial profile of university leaders and young people, identifying the critical points and advantages of the role of higher education institutions in the generation of social entrepreneurial attitudes. Entrepreneurship is a mixture of opportunity, creativity and determination to create some value (López de Toro, 2014), which seeks to generate and articulate spaces of social innovation oriented to the consolidation of new contexts of social economic incidence and the urgency of protecting the environment, it is clear that profit is no longer enough as an element that drives entrepreneurial effort. Therefore, it is necessary to adapt this effort to the stage that we will have to face in the coming years. A first step to achieve this goal is to know what the leaders and young university students of our region (USMP, 2017) value social entrepreneurship. This project will use quantitative methods (validated survey) and qualitative with participatory approach (focal group, seminars-workshops and meeting). All this considering the scope we want to study, where environmental, economic and social factors are constantly interrelated. With all this, the research project will study an area of relevance little addressed with the importance that merits, which is vital for the development of timely actions by the University in strengthening the link with the various social economic sectors of the region.
