International Network To Promote Cultural Heritage Innovation and Diplomancy - Ilucidare (International Network for the successful use of cultural heritage innovations and diplomacy, capacities construction and consciousness taking)

Ilucidare is a three -year project that seeks to promote and enhance innovation and diplomacy of cultural heritage through the creation and activation of an international community of professionals in cultural heritage in Europe and outside Europe. Ilucidare refers to concepts: "elucidare", with the aim of providing a common definition of innovation and diplomacy led by cultural heritage, and "profit", with the aim of creating consciousness and involving people in a new way, through co-creation approaches to favor paradigms changes in diplomacy on the basis of cultural heritage. Within the framework of this research project, the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Cuenca, through the CPM project, is the only partner of Latin America. Its participation within the Ilucidare Network has been valued as strategic due to the collaboration networks with other academic institutions and specialized networks that CPM has consolidated in this part of the hemisphere (preomes, Proterra, Icomos, Gohul, Puec) in the field of heritage conservation. During the three years of implementation at the local level, problems mitigating problems will be discussed and refined from the use of culture, promoting diplomacy and dialogue between the actres involved in three selected territories (Learning Hubs). In 2020, the Ilucidare Consortium meeting in Cuenca will open a space for interested parties to know lines of action and investment of the most prominent European networks in the field of culture.
