Description
The information society today is assuming challenges that some years ago were unthinkable for both education and learning. It can be considered perhaps that the most important thing is the new generation of apprentices who have not had to access new technologies but were born with them, addressing knowledge from different premises very different from those of the past. This involves a huge challenge for teachers, who are generators of profound changes in the development of society by training competent professionals to respond to the demands of their passage. The design of the new curricula and the practice of teaching must take into account their recipients and their way of learning, so the main task is to ensure that students improve their learning with the incorporation and use of ICT in the classroom and extend them out of it. This implies configuring new scenarios in the relationships between teachers, students and contents to be taught and also do so in the evaluation of the teaching and learning process. This is required that the training of teachers cover the necessary skills that allow them to naturally incorporate ICTs into their pedagogical practice. For this, teachers must initially think about what are the objectives and challenges of education by incorporating ICT and thinking about what and under what conditions this presence of technology contributes to the training of students. It is essential to establish the relationship of ICT with the development in students of their ability to learn to learn.
