Description
The research aims to contribute to supplies that allow us to approach the real, social and economic dimension of domestic violence in the Cuenca canton, information that will allow public policy generators, to determine more effective actions for the treatment of domestic violence. Under this framework, research seeks to make visible from a gender perspective, the social and economic impacts that intrafamily violence produces, at private and public levels under five research axes: 1. Identify how gender relations are established from the perspective of the increase or decrease in domestic violence. 2. Identify how intrafamily violence affects the social field from acts of contrasts and discrimination that the actors consider significant -emic- and from the phenomenal distinctions considered adequate by the researchers -ETIC- 3. Determine the necessary budget to guarantee comprehensive care, quality and warmth in state care routes. 4. Determine the opportunity cost of the treatment of VIF, at the level of assaulted women. 5. Determine the explanatory and application scope of the correlation between domestic violence and the configuration of local public policies. For this, an interdisciplinary team has been constituted with experience in research and the subject as well as strategic institutional alliances at the local and national level committed to support the research process and host its recommendations.
