Description
Among the training process provided by higher education is induction to new university students, which represents a support, guidance and accompaniment service during their university life. Currently, the University of Cuenca does not have specific material, or methodologies for the application and monitoring of induction processes to its students. Given this situation, information and communication technologies provide the opportunity to overcome these limitations and achieve the production and dissemination of digital educational material through OA learning objects, which are virtual objects and pedagogical mediators designed intentionally to be used, re-most re-most referenced in learning purposes. The Virtual Education Program composed of teachers from the Faculties of Engineering and Philosophy seeks Methodology and finally disseminate the results. Interviews and surveys will be conducted for information lifting; Literature review for the analysis of induction processes, OA models, virtual teaching -learning environments and digital repositories; Definition of content and development platform for the implementation of the OA; Selection of the students' sample for the application and evaluation of the OA and dissemination of the project stages through workshops. The project will contribute to the application of new methodological strategies in induction processes that can be replicated in other areas of knowledge, will last 27 months with an approximate budget of $ 60,000.00.
