Description

The objective is to design, implement and evaluate the impact of an intervention on eating habits, eating behavior and physical activity in the prevention of excess weight in preschool. Methodology: Experimental study, which will measure the impact of an intervention plan in a year, in preschool of 2 and 3 years of child development centers. At the beginning of the study and at the end of the intervention, questionnaires will be applied to determine: eating habits, eating behavior, physical activity. The nutritional status will be determined with the criteria of the World Health Organization. Expected results: healthy habits in children and also a decrease in the prevalence of overweight and obesity. This project will serve as a pilot for the promotion of healthy lifestyles. Conclusions: Food interventions, and physical activity would have a positive impact on preschoolers to improve their habits and improve their nutritional status.
