Description
Postural musculoskeletal disorders (TME) are among the ten outpatient causes in the medical dispensary of the University of Cuenca in the first half of the year 2022. The objective of the project is to evaluate the impact of the implementation of physical activity snacks and health recommendations related to health, in the administrative staff of the University of Cuenca; Based on the results obtained in phase 1 of the project. The study has a quasi-experimental design with a quanti-qualitative mixed approach, with a duration of 24 months; 412 administrators will participate that meet the inclusion criteria. The main instruments that will be used: the diet quality questionnaire to know the quality of food consumed and food times; The International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) that determines the level of physical activity; The Ruffier test, bio-impedance, abdominal tests and flexibility; Dynamometer to establish the level of physical condition; The PSS test to know the degree of perception of stress; The Pittsburg sleep quality index that establishes sleep quality. It is expected to establish a report with the effects of the implementation of the physical activity snack program and health -related food recommendations and variables related to the quality of life that contribute to the decrease in the aftermath of postural musculoskeletal disorders in the administrative staff of the University of Cuenca.
