Description

This research project seeks to generate a package of sustainability indicators to improve transportation in the rural area of the Cuenca canton, in order to decrease, costs and transfer times, and environmental impacts, based on the measurement of the effects of transport on the physical, social and economic environment in the study area. The project consists of the following phases: - Conceptual phase, with the purpose of forming a theoretical basis that allows the study to clearly address. - Diagnostic elaboration phase that allows to have an approach to the reality of public transport in the study area. - Proposal phase, construction of indicators that facilitate measuring the phenomena caused by transportation.
